Nexium 24HR can be taken orally, following a meal, or as a tablet, extended-release capsule or dispersed in half a glass of water. Take one pill at a time. Take it regularly, every day or as directed by your doctor. The dosage is determined by your doctor based on your age and medical condition. Do not increase or decrease the dosage of any other medicine or food products (including, food supplements, over-the-counter medications, and supplements) without your doctor's approval.

Do not take more than the recommended dose; (e.g. Esomeprazole). If you experience any adverse effects, stop taking Nexium and consult your doctor immediately.
