NEW YORK (CNN) - New York-based Prudential Securities Inc. said it is launching its second generic version of AstraZeneca's NEXIUM® (esomeprazole magnesium) in the fourth quarter and is launching the first generic version of Nexium® (esomeprazole magnesium) in the fourth quarter. This means that Nexium is available in two different strengths - one generic and one brand-name. The company has also said it plans to launch its first generic version of generic Nexium in the second quarter of 2020.
Prudential, which has $3.9 billion in sales, is a major player in the pharmaceutical industry and has a net income of around $1.4 billion since its first full-year financial results were announced in July 2014. The company said in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission that the company has more than $7 billion in net income in the fourth quarter of 2020, up from $7.1 billion in the same period in 2014. It will continue to market a generic version of Nexium until late 2017. In addition, Prudential said that it has an earnings forecast of $4.3 billion for the fourth quarter of 2020.
In addition, Prudential said that the company has filed for a license to market the company's product for 2020. This will be the third consecutive year of results from the company's product launches.
For now, Prudential is launching the generic version of its generic NEXIUM® (esomeprazole magnesium) in the second quarter of 2020.
According to a release from the company, the company is working closely with its partners to develop and commercialize the product and will have the ability to launch a generic version of NEXIUM in the second quarter of 2020.

In a press release, Prudential said the company is also working closely with its partners to develop a product to help consumers treat chronic conditions like diabetes and hypertension.
In addition to Nexium, Prudential said it is also developing a form of the drug that it markets in the U. S., including Prudential said.

Nexium 24HR is a proton pump inhibitor that dissolves in the stomach. It dissolves rapidly in the stomach, providing lasting relief from frequent heartburn. Nexium 24HR works by blocking the reabsorption of calcium and magnesium in the brain, resulting in reduced excrete of proton pumps B and A. This reduces the amount of stored proton pumps from the stomach to the esophagus. This allows proton pump inhibitor content in the esophagus to accumulate and control heartburn.
Nexium 24HR tablets are indicated for: • Adults and children from 1 week up to 36 weeks of age • Pediatricpatients requiring extended treatment.
Each tablet contains 20 mg of esomeprazole.
Adults and children over 12 years: Take 1 tablet on the first day of your period (2-4 wks).
Swallow the tablet whole with water. Do not crush or chew the tablet. Take the tablet with a full glass of water. Do not take the tablet more often than every day. Do not exceed the recommended dose. It may be taken with or without food, but food may delay its onset of action.

Nexium 24HR 20 mg enteric coated tablets for the lasting symptomatic relief of frequent heartburn, acid regurgitation and other symptoms associated with gastro-oesophageal reflux.
Always take this medicine exactly as described in the Consumer Medicine Information leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist have told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. The recommended dose is one tablet a day. - Do not take more than this recommended dose of one tablet (20 mg) a day, even if you don't feel an improvement immediately. - You may need to take Nexium 24HR for a few days before experiencing the full effect. - Nexium 24HR should be taken for at least 7 days and up to 14 days. - Tell your pharmacist or doctor if you do not feel better while taking Nexium 24HR.
